Overview
A Bioinformatician position is available immediately at the IMCB Cell Fate and Therapeutics Laboratory.
The lab is interested in dissecting the regulatory switches regulating cell fate determination in healthy and diseased states while developing novel tools and strategies for deriving desired cell types for therapeutic applications.
Responsibilities
- Dissect regulatory switches regulating cell fate determination in healthy and diseased states.
- Develop novel tools and strategies for deriving desired cell types for therapeutic applications.
- Collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment; contribute to research projects related to bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing data analysis.
Requirements
- PhD/M.Sc. with a strong research background in Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Biostatistics or equivalent.
- Experience in bioinformatics and data analysis for ChIP-seq, Transcriptomics, Single-cell analytics and Spatial-seq.
- Experience with open-source bioinformatics tools.
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of biostatistics, machine learning and AI highly desirable.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-moving interdisciplinary team.
- Committed and able to work flexible hours.
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
