Key Skills & Competencies
- Mechanical & Electrical Systems Expertise Proficient in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, motors, water tanks, and control panels.
- Diagnostic & Technical Proficiency Skilled in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical drawings and manuals to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.
- Fire Protection Systems Knowledge Experience with Fire Protection Safety Systems and related infrastructure is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving & Attention to Detail Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution and preventive maintenance.
- Communication & Reporting Capable of clear client communication, writing technical reports, and managing follow-ups for service quality.
- Digital & Administrative Skills Competent with Microsoft Office and email correspondence; able to manage service reports and documentation.
- Customer Relationship Management Skilled in maintaining professional client interactions and identifying service improvement opportunities.
- Team Coordination & Supplier Liaison Able to coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely, compliant job execution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Fire Protection Systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs or replacements to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage client site systems, including replacement planning and service scheduling.
- Provide on-site technical support and coordinate internal/external resources to fulfill job requirements.
- Document and report maintenance activities and system conditions.
- Gather feedback from clients for continuous improvement and service development.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience (preferably with pump systems and water tanks)
- Background in Fire Protection Systems preferred
- Valid Class 3 Driving License with minimum 2 years' driving experience
- Able to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
