The Opportunity

Specializing in marine fuels and base oil supply, lubricants, cargo trading and risk management solutions, the company serves ship owners, operators, and traders in the maritime industry.
With a strong emphasis on digital innovation and compliance, they offer end-to-end supply chain services and real-time market insights to clients worldwide.

They are currently seeking a
Bunker Trader
in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and cultivate new client relationships within the global marine fuels sector.
Cultivate and nurture lasting professional relationships with key maritime clients, including shipowners and operators.
Deal Execution: Structure, negotiate, and finalize bunker supply agreements while safeguarding profit margins.
Operational & Risk Management: Coordinate the logistical execution of fuel deliveries with operations teams and diligently manage associated credit and operational risks.
Market Analysis & Strategy: Monitor bunker market dynamics, shipping trends, pricing fluctuations, competitor activity and regulatory shifts to inform strategic decisions.
Strategic Commercial Growth: Integrate sustainable fuel solutions into offerings, ensure full regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
5 – 7 years of experience in similar role within marine fuels/bunker industry
Experienced in working with Mainland Chinese clients
Deep knowledge of maritime industry regulations, marine fuels industry, shipping operations and bunker trading.
Possess portfolio of transferable client base is highly desirable
Effective verbal and written communications, and fluent in Chinese to liaise with Mainland Chinese stakeholders
