We’re looking for a customer-focused Business Developer to develop their career in a rewarding, high-performing, international company.
The BD (Business Developer) role is a technical and leadership role part of the Hilti BD community.
As a BD, you will focus on a portfolio of Owners, EPC, and consultant/specifier contacts important for the industry segment in Singapore.
You will create strategies and lead their execution to increase sales from the accounts based on commercial relationship and technical specifications.

What does the role involve?
Day to day you will be responsible to identify the key contact for targeted projects of the focus accounts, develop standards and specifications with Hilti solutions, and coordinate with the sales team on current and future industry projects being designed and built in Singapore.
The key responsibilities include the following:
Contributes and accountable for specification and sales development (direct or indirect), long term relationship build-up, and execution of account strategy by working on tailored commercial and technical solutions.
Contribute towards developing the segment strategy in the region.
Develop senior relationship contacts within the customer’s organization to drive the execution of the account’s strategy (department heads, corporate).
Identify customer challenges and pain points; provide feedback for new offer/product development to cater to customer needs.
Drive specifications by supporting the Hilti technical teams working with the assigned accounts including designers, engineers, project team members, purchase departments, lead engineers, discipline managers, turnaround teams across multiple disciplines (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping & Procurement).
Examine economic and market trends and develop strategies to take advantage of changing circumstances.
Maintain effective communication systems throughout the team and company.
Collaborate with several offices/branches located in multiple regions.

What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Civil
Preferably at least 3 years’ experience in consultancy, business development or sales for specified engineering products or sales of solutions; marketing management experience
Experience in Semiconductors, Pharma or Data Center Projects in Singapore is preferred.
Existing network with Singapore EPCs and owners is a plus.
Business sales negotiation skills
Strong communication skills, proficiency in English and Mandarin
Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
Acts independently, strategic thinking
Work experience in multicultural environment
Due to the nature of the role, a driving license is essential
