Business Development Executive - IT & Cybersecurity
We are looking for a highly initiated and motivated Business Development Executive to drive new business growth in IT and cybersecurity solutions.
This is a frontline role that requires energy, persistence, and the ability to connect with decision-makers.
You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and closing opportunities that align with Semnet’s portfolio of security solutions.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will generate leads, build relationships, and close opportunities in IT and cybersecurity, driving new business growth and expanding Semnet’s security solutions portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT and cybersecurity.
Make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to develop a strong sales pipeline.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
Arrange and attend client meetings, presentations, and product demos.
Understand customer needs and map them to Semnet’s solutions.
Work closely with technical and pre‐sales teams to deliver proposals and close deals.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Represent Semnet at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, or related field.
2+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity sales, account management, or business development.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both over the phone and in person.
Ability to confidently engage with senior decision‐makers and IT leaders.
Self‐driven, resilient, and results‐oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong networking ability and comfort in building new connections.
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, IT infrastructure, and software licensing is an advantage.
