Hunter Executive are currently working in partnership with well-respected and established National Engineering Consulting firm BG&E, to source a well-connected Business Development Lead in WA.
BG&E are seeking someone who is established in the WA Engineering market, and that has the ability to maintain and develop existing relationships, as well as establishing and growing BG&E's core disciplines in emerging markets.

BG&E now has highly skilled teams operating in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Middle East, that design and deliver engineering solutions for clients in the Property, Transport, Ports and Marine, Water, Defence, Renewables and Resources sectors.
The role:
The role of Business Development Lead WA will play an essential part in developing and implementing plans and tactics to develop new business and to shape the team in order to deliver on BG&E's strategy.
Assist in the growth of new disciplines within established markets
Contribute to the BG&E strategy of establishing core disciplines in emerging markets
Maintain and develop existing and new client relationships
Undertake market analysis and monitoring and targeting future project opportunities
Supporting development of new/emerging discipline and specialist teams including assisting with team development and recruitment of key individuals.
Assist with the development and implementation of business plans.
Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers, sub-consultants, and design partners.
Guide bids and bid teams (working alongside discipline leads)
Support and work alongside discipline leads as well as project teams.
Liaise and co-ordinate with Business Development Leads in other Regions.
About You:
Extensive experience in business development and relationship management
Excellent networking and client management skills
Credibility and established relationships within the transport and building sectors
Sound understanding of engineering consulting and professional services industries
Strategic thinking with the ability to plan, resource and organise effectively
Technical engineering background would be desirable but not essential
Good commercial acumen and project management skills
