Responsibilities
Drive business development activities, identify new opportunities, and maintain existing business contacts to secure automation and robotics projects.
Expand and maintain a strong customer network, manage the sales pipeline through the company's CRM system, and provide tailored solutions with support from the General Manager
Manage and grow assigned key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships while driving revenue and profitability.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation for customers.
Pursue and manage grant opportunities (IMDA, Enterprise Singapore, Start-Up SG, and other regional programs).
Develop and maintain vendor partnerships, liaising with suppliers for procurement, import/export, and cost optimization.
Collaborate closely with the Director and General Manager to ensure proposals are technically accurate and commercially viable.
Conduct roadshows, product seminars, technology days, and client presentations to promote company solutions and increase market visibility.
Represent the company in client meetings, demos, expos, and industrial showcases as the face of the business.
Stay updated on product launches, new technologies, and competitor offerings to proactively introduce value-added solutions to clients.
Serve as a key driver behind company growth, innovation, and brand recognition within the automation and robotics industry.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Sales or Business development related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in technical sales or business development
Familiar with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
Experience with government grant applications (IMDA, ESG, Start-Up SG) preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with product and application knowledge.
Mandarin proficiency for vendor liaison is an advantage.
Willing to travel regionally when required.
General Employment Terms
Work Week: 5 days (Monday – Friday)
Working Hours: 09:00 am – 05:30 pm (1-hour lunch break)
Overtime: Not applicable (executive positions only)
Leave Entitlement: 14 days annual leave + statutory public holidays
Performance Review: Conducted at year end; salary/bonus adjustments tied to results
Travel Requirement: Some roles may require regional/international travel (as projects demand)
