Job description


Job Summary:

Provide support to Field Application Engineers (FAEs) team, by ensuring accurate data entry in both internal and external database.

Coordinate and facilitate sample request and distribution across Avnet ASEAN offices.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with FAEs to compile and submit Bill of Materials (BOM) lists into internal and external database.

  • Maintain data accuracy and completeness promptly upon receipt updates from FAEs.

  • Process sample order from FAEs/Sales with accurate records and timely updates.

  • Coordinate with various department for smooth transaction without delay, eg.

    creation of Material Part Numbers (MPNs) and Free Delivery Sales Orders (FDSO).

  • Preparing shipment documents for sample distribution to Avnet regional offices or customer directly.

  • Follow up with regional colleagues to ensure smooth sample collection.

  • Stay updated with system knowledge, company policies and services standards.

  • Maintains records and/or files for assigned area.

  • May also need to ensure appropriate documentation is timely and accurately entered into departmental records as required.

  • As assigned, prepares, collates, and distributes various reports in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Acquires basic skills through work experience or formal training to perform routine tasks.

  • Tasks are routine, repetitive and manual in nature with minimal complexity or variation and specific to the job.

  • Interacts mostly with immediate peers within assigned team.

    Based on nature of the role, may respond to requests from others in the organization.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Familiarity with SAP systems and basic office software.

  • Positive attitude, team player and willingness to learn.


  • Work Experience:

  • Typically requires one to three years of related experience.


  • Education and Certification(s):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
