As a Calibration Technician / Engineer, you would be performing calibration, testing, and maintenance of electrical, low-frequency, and radio frequency instruments and equipment in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC to ensure measurement accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible on the following,
- Perform calibration of electrical DC, LF, and RF instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, RF power meters, and related equipment.
- Ensure calibration procedures meet ISO/IEC 17025 standards and client requirements.
- Conduct performance checks, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of measurement instruments.
- Prepare accurate calibration certificates, test reports, and maintenance logs.
- Maintain calibration records in accordance with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Equipment & Laboratory Maintenance
- Ensure all calibration equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist in equipment upgrades.
- Follow safety protocols, laboratory practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in internal audits, inter-laboratory comparisons, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support and consultation to customers regarding calibration issues.
- Assist in on-site calibration when required.
To succeed in this role, you should be..
- Proficiency in handling precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of calibration software and tools is an advantage.
- Hands-on calibration experience with precision instruments.
- Strong understanding of electrical metrology, RF measurement principles, and uncertainty analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and traceability requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
