As part of our dynamic growth, we seek a
Technical Card Scheme Manager
with proven experience and expertise in
Card Acquiring .
In this role, you will be responsible for support of existing Card methods as well as the development and launch of new Acquiring card methods with focus on Asia and Africa regions working closely with Card Schemes (Visa / MC / Union Pay/ JCB and other Schemes), Partners, Vendors.
To help accomplish your responsibilities, you will work closely with the
Card Processing team, Settlement team, Finance team, PSP, Legal, Acquiring team, Analytics teams, Banking team
and other department will be involving in the acquiring setup or process for Acquiring.
This position expects a lot of communication with Card schemes, external stakeholders, and partners.
Fluent English – must.
Additional languages (Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese) – considered as a plus.

Hong Kong office.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end management of Acquiring: Mastercard, Visa and etc.
including the technical implementation and analyze of the technical documentation
Ensuring compliance with Mandatory Changes of Card Schemes and Regulatory
Support payments acceptance related reviews and escalations
Analysis of technical documentation of card schemes and mandates
Develop manuals and instructions for internal departments
Analysis of card schemes settlement & reconciliation
Support the operation of our existing solutions as an escalation point for internal teams
Effectively document business/technical requirements and understand operational processes
Execute test plans for new products and work closely with go to market teams to deliver working features
Develop relationship with card schemes (MasterCard / Visa / Union Pay / JCB and etc.) as part of the implementation of Cards payment methods
Operational support for launched Acquiring products
Provide day-to-day product delivery and quality management
Ensure awareness of product status and roadmap risks across the group
Drive post-launch look-backs and internal process improvements
Analyze Card Scheme invoices in detail on a monthly basis to ensure that the assigned fee is billed correctly, analyzing the costs in detail every month to ensure that the assigned budget is met and closely work with Finance and Reconciliation team
Requirements:
Proven experience with the payments lifecycle, including data messaging standards (ISO)
Proven experience in the certification of products with Card Schemes
Proven experience working with Mandatory changes of Card schemes
Knowledge of card schemes rules (Visa / MasterCard, UnionPay and etc)
Knowledge of card schemes settlement and reconciliation processes
Must be able to talk knowledgeably with card schemes, vendors, partners and banks who live and breathe payments every day
Good technical and project management skills
Passionate about the acquiring & issuing industry
Fluent in English
Will consider as a plus:
Knowledge/working experience with Asia and Africa markets
Proven experience and understanding of the implementation of acquiring related products
Additional languages (Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese) – considered as a plus
