● Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Higher Nitec in Engineering.
● Need to carry out Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and Computational Evacuation modelling including execution of the simulations in the workstations located in the office.
Familiarity in software's such as Fire Dynamics Simulation (FDS), Pyrosim, Pathfinder and Ansys Fluent would be required for this role.
● Able to read architectural and building services drawings and be able to import the drawings into the CFD or evacuation software's.
● Able to closely monitor the simulations, extract and analyse the 3D simulation results.
Monitoring the simulations on-site and off-site using TEAMVIEWER would be required.
● Must have basic knowledge on how to trouble-shoot problems / correct errors associated with the 3D models and simulations.
● Able to propose solutions to solve the problems arising from the results of the simulations.
● Able to prepare CFD and evacuation reports.
As such, familiarity using Microsoft Office (e.g. WORDS, POWERPOINT & EXCEL) is required.
● At least 1 or 2 year(s) of working experience is preferred for this position.
