Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Channel Partner Operations Analyst in our Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific (AMEA) Channel Operations team.

This person will partner with key HQ and regional stakeholders to develop and deploy the Channel operations framework around the Chanel Sales organization within region.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape our fastest growing and diverse region.

Working in a matrix environment, you will drive on-boarding of the new partners, help them settle into their role and support them operationally.

Acting as voice of the region, your recommendations will contribute towards regional/global initiatives and our Channel Enablement Strategy.

You will use reports to monitor Partner performance as per existing frameworks (such as Value Tier Program and CP Operational Assessment) and help coordinate teams' insights both internally and for the quarterly partner reviews.

The ideal candidate should be excited to be working with colleagues across AMEA, and be capable of adjusting to differing cultural nuances and business conditions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

On occasion, you might be able to identify areas for operational improvement.

The ideal candidate would take appropriate action to escalate the issue where appropriate.

Adaptability to changing needs of our partners and sales team is a strength, and we would rely on your support with deployed adjustments to our processes as required.

Responsibilities will include


• Act in the capacity of a Project Coordinator for channel partner on-boarding, off-boarding and territory expansion, working with Trade Compliance, Logistics, Legal and Regulatory functions.


• Drive Channel Partner Agreement (CPA) renewal process


• Project manage operational and due diligence processes of new Channel Partner selection and recruitment


• Coordinate with internal functions for contracting, system access and set up for new Channel Partners


• Schedule, coordinate or provide Training to Channel Partners as needed


• Operational processes - identify and drive ways of automation, scalability, gaps and process improvements


• Support channel partner related AMEA ad hoc enquiries


• Monitor and report on regional channel compliance activities


• Lead regional contract adjustment Pricing efforts and contract renewal with Partner Account Managers (PAMs)


• Proactively identify program elements that enable partners to generate incremental growth, drive partner satisfaction and loyalty, and maximize program impact and ROI


• Support implementation of global frameworks in the AMEA region


• Actively contribute and represent AMEA Channel Operations on all global system implementations, enhancements, initiatives, governance and projects.

Preferred background, skills and experience


• Experience in working with trade compliance & supply chain


• Successful track record in Channel Operations, Sales Operations or a related commercial support role


• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English


• Strong collaboration skills


• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner


• Strong ability to manage parallel priorities, work in team settings, and work independently when required.


• Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and project management skills.


• Understands Go-To-Market strategy principles, utilization of key business metrics to enable data-driven decision making and key customer engagement processes


• Possess an open, flexible, and positive can-do attitude with good communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with multiple departments to execute mutually beneficial solutions.

Experience dealing with difficult internal and external situations.


• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook and possess an innate ability to navigate through new software applications.

Software, especially web-based software, shouldn't scare the ideal candidate.

Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.

Preferred Educational Background:


• MBA or Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Business or Technical field preferred.

Life sciences degree would be an advantage.
