Job Description:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Hong Kong–style dishes (e.g. noodles/ rice/ desserts)
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet café standards.
- Develop and improve recipes, seasonal menus, and daily specials.
- Oversee food preparation processes to maintain efficiency during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory, manage ordering of ingredients, and reduce wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Work closely with service team to coordinate smooth kitchen-to-floor operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in a Hong Kong cafe / Chinese restaurant environment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Passion for food and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
