Job Description
- Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food presentation meets the restaurant's expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations strictly
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Assist in menu development and dish improvement when required
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen
- Skilled in Chinese and/or Western cuisine (candidates with both preferred)
- Good understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Ability to follow recipes, plating standards, and hygiene procedures
- Strong sense of responsibility and time management
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility to be assigned based on the cuisine type or kitchen section
