Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation between Chinese and Japanese during meetings, business negotiations, training sessions, and events.
Translate official documents, emails, presentations, and reports between Chinese and Japanese.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and cultural appropriateness in both verbal and written communications.
Manage scheduling of interpretation services , including booking interpreters, coordinating with teams, and arranging logistics for meetings or events.
Maintain and update translation databases, glossaries, and terminology records to ensure consistency.
Assist in drafting bilingual correspondence (Chinese/Japanese) for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare, file, and organize translated documents for easy reference and compliance purposes.
Act as a liaison between management, clients, and staff across Chinese- and Japanese-speaking regions.
Review translations for accuracy, tone, and alignment with company policies or industry standards.
Ensure confidential handling of sensitive business documents and communications.
Support recruitment or coordination of freelance interpreters when necessary.
Provide guidance or training to junior interpreters or administrative staff on translation protocols.
Good command of English for internal communications and reporting.
Professional language certifications: JLPT N1 (Japanese) , HSK 6 (Mandarin) preferred.
Experience in corporate, business, or government settings is advantageous.
Proficiency in office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or equivalent).
High attention to detail and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and under pressure, especially during live events.
