The Role
This role involves providing day to day claims and administration support to the Property, Casualty and Technical Special Risks (PCTSR) Loss Adjusting team.
Key Responsibilities
Case creation and management, including the following tasks:
Open new cases, register same on our various core systems and support the ongoing management of these cases, in these systems e.g., CTA's internal Case Management and Accounting (CMA) system, eCases System etc
Ensure the correct case related expenses and disbursements are entered onto CMA before any invoices are processed by CTA's Working Capital team; investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist Loss Adjusters with general file management and efiling of papers.
Although CTA is adopting a paperless approach with the introduction of eCases, there may also be a requirement print a limited set of documents as CTA's hard copy Record of Note to comply with local regulations.
Produce case related MI, as required.
Close eCases and ensure they are appropriately managed prior to being destroyed.
Travel management e.g., co-ordinating complex travel and arrangement of adjusters travel schedules.
Document creation and voice dictation (if required) e.g., preparation, proof-reading of reports letters, and general communications with clients.
General Loss Adjuster support, including the following tasks:
Assist with the arrangement of meetings and appointments for Loss Adjusters.
Receive, open, and distribute incoming mail for the Aviation Loss Adjusting team.
On an exceptional basis, assist Loss Adjusters with time recording in CMA and using the application.
Special Projects; as and when needed, be proactively involved in the development of new processes / systems and the user acceptance testing of same before they are deployed.
Provide training / support on new and existing systems, procedures, and processes to Aviation Loss Adjusting team
Build strong relationships with: Adjusters and external clients, where appropriate, and proactively follow up on any Claims Administration related queries / issues.
Key internal stakeholders in the adjusting teams they work with and ensure they and their teams consistently receive a high standard of support.
As required, support the team in the delivery of external support services
Supporting the onboarding and training of new hires and helping to set up and integrate them onto CTA's core systems.

Ad Hoc duties: Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks as allocated, at the discretion of management, and that are within your capabilities and the scope of your role.
Technical Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in a Loss Adjusting environment, in a Property & Casualty Claims support role.
Fluent in English (both Oral and Written)
General secretarial skills, including diary management and dictation (60 WPM typing speed)
Microsoft Office Word and Excel at intermediate/expert level
Demonstrates attention to detail and a desire to get things done Right First Time”.
