Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery
- Monitor global service delivery performance
- Own and resolve customer operational escalations
- Design and manage customer scorecards and KPIs
- Collaborate with third‑party partners, suppliers, and vendors
- Ensure operational readiness through SOPs, workshops, and system integrations
- Oversee implementation of new business and digital solutions (e.g., EDI)
- Manage financial performance and gain‑sharing agreements
- Ensure access to accurate rates, data, and contacts across all partners
Solution Selling
- Identify customer pain points and supply chain challenges
- Define and lead initiatives to address and resolve these issues
Strategic Leadership
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s supply chain strategy and business needs
- Co‑create a strategic roadmap with the customer and Key Client Director (KCD)
- Design and implement IT and digital transformation strategies
- Establish contingency and resilience plans
- Identify and drive efficiency and cost optimization initiatives
- Build internal awareness and a Maersk community around the account
Qualifications
- 15+ years of global key account management experience, with deep expertise in ocean freight operations, end‑to‑end supply chain optimization, complex solution implementation, and transformation leadership
- 10+ years of experience leading and influencing cross‑functional teams without direct reporting lines
- Experienced in strategic planning and organizational development
- Proven ability to articulate a compelling vision and inspire action
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures
- Strategic thinker with a customer‑centric mindset and ability to link needs with industry trends and Maersk’s offerings
- Results‑driven leader who achieves through collaboration and influence
- Resilient and composed under pressure, with strong risk mitigation capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or supply chain management (preferred)
