About the role

We are looking for a Part Time Clinic Assistant to join our GP clinic along Upper East Coast Road for the period from November 2025 to June 2026.

Additionally, the role will include providing coverage when staff are on leave, starting after January 2026.

As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinic and ensuring our patients receive high-quality, personalised care.

This is a part-time position based in our East Coast clinic, providing you with the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Our working hours are from 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM on Monday, and Wednesday to Friday, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 02:00 PM.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays, employees are scheduled for half-day shifts, from 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Sunday is a non-working day.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, and guiding them through the check-in process
  • Assisting the medical team with various administrative and clinical tasks, such as preparing examination rooms, sterilising equipment, and managing patient records
  • Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked clinic environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience
  • Adhering to all relevant healthcare policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a healthcare or customer service role will be valuable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in using common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and electronic medical record systems (e.g. Clinic Assist)
  • A team player with a positive, patient-centric attitude
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and procedures, or a willingness to learn
