Overview
The Clinic Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the reception area, attending to patients, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to doctors during consultations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the reception area, greeting patients, and handling phone calls professionally.
- Attend to patients and perform front-desk duties including registration, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing billing.
- Process insurance claims, handle Medisave transactions, and conduct regular stock-taking of medical supplies.
- Update billing records accurately and reconcile daily collections.
- Provide assistance to doctors during consultations, ensuring patients’ needs are met efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
Job Requirements
- Experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous.
