About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Wintel Engineer (Level 2) to support and maintain Windows Server environments across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
The role involves managing Wintel operations, patching, application deployment, and implementing security and compliance standards in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 operational support for Windows Server (2016–2025) across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS, Azure, and GCP Windows workloads (EC2, Azure VMs, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Perform OS patch management using WSUS, SCCM, and cloud-native tools (AWS Systems Manager, Azure Update Management).
- Support application deployment, OS-level troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Implement CIS hardening, IAM least-privilege, and vulnerability remediation in collaboration with InfoSec.
- Automate tasks with PowerShell, AWS CLI, Azure CLI, and gcloud.
- Participate in 24/7 shift rotation and change management activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and audit evidence.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on Wintel administration; 2+ years of cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) experience.
- Experience in OS patching, application support, and ITIL-based service management (ServiceNow/Jira).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of CIS security, backup/recovery, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevSecOps frameworks (SHIP-HATS).
- Willingness to work in shift and on-call environments.
