We are looking for an ambitious Commis to work at our Burmese restaurant in Singapore.

As a Commis, your main responsibility is supporting the kitchen team in delivering consistently high-quality food.
Your work will be extremely important for customer satisfaction and building customer loyalty.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing inventory levels and letting the Chef de Parries know when they need or order more ingredients or supplies
- Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
- Prepare food orders according to standard recipes and procedures
- Daily feedback collection and reporting of issues as they arise
- Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Consults daily with Sous Chef and Chef de Parties on the daily requirements, functions and about any last-minute events
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Maintain smooth and efficient operations in the kitchen
- Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.
- Ensure overall cleanliness of kitchen and personal hygiene
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a similar position preferred.
- A culinary diploma from a recognized institution, HACCP certified (preferred not required)
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Punctual, organised, and trustworthy
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation.
- Passion for delivering great food and service.
- Multitasking and organisational ability.
