We're looking for a Commis Chef to support our team during our focused, half-day service window.
If you're eager to build strong kitchen fundamentals in a supportive, fast-moving environment — and want your afternoons off — this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily food preparation, including mise en place, sauces, grilling, assembly and more
- Support service in a modern open-concept kitchen
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen hygiene
- Follow recipes and SOPs to ensure consistency and quality
- Assist with stock checks, prep lists and kitchen closing duties
Requirements
- Valid Food Hygiene Certification (required)
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently and stay calm during busy hours
- Prior experience in a kitchen is a bonus, but not essential
