The Service Commissioning Engineer reports to the Service Team Lead and is responsible for carrying out commissioning and testing third-party security products and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out testing and commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Fire Alarm, AV, Public Address, and other Security & Communication systems;
- Analyze equipment failures to determine the cause and recommend/take corrective actions
- To complete all assigned jobs in a timely manner and meet customers' specifications.
- Provide support to the Project Team on the implementation of new projects
- Attend and carry out rectification works at the site
- Carry out standby duties as per the roster for urgent service requests outside office hours
- Provide customers with continuous technical and operational program support
- Provide support to projects during the DLP period to ensure all rectification works are completed before handover
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer, Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering/Computer Science/Telecommunication Engineering/Higher NITEC applicants will also be considered;
- With at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field;
- A good team player, independent, and able to work under pressure;
- Positive attitude, coupled with the ability to take initiative;
