Overview
The Communications Assistant position has an emphasis on learning the culture of the company through assisting senior team members on the projects they are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Brand Advocacy – Authentic, engaged and active on brand.
Positively representing C+C&Co on a multitude of platforms wherever possible.
- Good command of English and able to converse in English.
- Contributing to the ideation discussions and brainstorms for client projects.
- Assisting in the ideation, production, and scheduling of social media content and/or digital campaigns.
- Assisting in managing day-to-day matters of the projects, which include:
- Receiving, analysing, and translating project briefs for the team
- Populating assets and any information needed
- Responding to communication channels (group chat, email, etc.)
- Assisting in supervising timelines for assigned projects
- Liaising with clients for feedback and approvals
- Staying up-to-date on both internal and external project updates/progresses
- Arranging internal discussions and meetings/presentations with external parties
- Supporting the business development team with all business growth projects and partnerships with related companies.
Requirements
- Minimum 0.5 – 1 year experience working in creative agencies of various disciplines ranging from copywriting, brand development, marketing or managerial based.
- Candidates with previous internships in aforementioned fields are preferred.
- Candidates with education background in Visual Communication Design, Marketing or Communications are preferred.
- Candidates with high activity in student organisations during university are preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Great visual eye and focus on details
- Have an affinity for visual storytelling, visual design, and graphics
- Good knowledge in design softwares and understanding of design principles is a plus.
- Able to develop simple and elegant ideation approaches to design problems.
- Open-mindedness in learning new skills that contribute to the betterment of the team.
