Key Job Accountabilities:
- Play critical role in managing component repair operations and lead a team of service engineers and technicians
- Product portfolio comprises of commercial and military aircraft engine parts repair e.g. CFM56-5B/-7B, LEAP-1A/-1B
- Drive operational excellence to meet TAT, OTD, Productivity, Labour Utilization as well as Quality and Safety compliance
- Allocate manpower and resources to maximize production outputs
- Spearhead Continuous Improvement projects as well as Digitalization and Automation initiatives to reduce cost and drive productivity
- Interface with customers and coordinate with various functions such as Sales, Customer Support, PP&C and Engineering to provide component MRO support for key engine programs
- Ensure compliance of quality standards and regulations laid down by airworthiness authorities and engine OEMs
- Promote a safety culture within the production team and lead environment health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe workplace
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
- Candidate holding other Engineering degree will also be considered
- Prior experience in aircraft engine component repair operations is an advantage
- Proven leadership track record with strong ability to drive and deliver results
- Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good team player with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and analytical skills
