experienced MEP Engineer
with a passion for computational design, BIM technology, and automation to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, engineers, and software developers) to deliver digital solutions that meet customer and industry requirements.
- Partner with product leaders and customers to define requirements for building services design, ensuring objectives are aligned with end-user needs.
- Perform complex
electrical systems design
, including LV/HV applications, load flow calculations, and electrical component sizing.
- Define and codify rules, constraints, and heuristics for
MEP layouts, space planning, and system optimization
.
- Develop computational design prototypes and workflows that integrate with BIM systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, test, and validate algorithms that automate engineering processes.
- Ensure outputs are practical, code-compliant, and compatible with downstream design and delivery workflows.
- Contribute to the
product roadmap
, bringing insights from industry experience to influence new features across MEP, structural, and architectural domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering
(or similar), with at least
5 years of experience
in electrical design for building projects (data centres, residential, or industrial).
- Experience in
design consultancy
and cross-discipline coordination (MEP, architectural, structural).
- Strong understanding of
sustainability and energy efficiency principles
in design.
- Proficiency in
BIM workflows
(e.g., Revit, IFC standards, Dynamo, or similar).
- Ability to translate engineering knowledge into
rules, constraints, and logical frameworks
.
- Familiarity with computational design, optimisation methods, or software development workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with engineers, software developers, and product stakeholders.
- Experience with parametric/generative modelling and scripting tools (e.g., Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper) is a
plus
