Responsibilities
- Identify and accurately record configuration items, bill of materials (BOM), parts, and location details essential for maintaining a robust Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Perform thorough verification of configuration data to uphold the integrity of baselines and support audit readiness.
- Regularly update and manage data within configuration management tools to ensure consistency and reliability across systems.
- Collaborate in the migration of configuration management data to new platforms, contributing to modernization and improved efficiency.
- Continuously improve and maintain process documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with evolving best practices.
- Take on ad-hoc assignments from the Configuration Manager, offering flexibility and a proactive approach to team goals.
Requirements
- Diploma in engineering or relevant technical fields.
- No experience required as on the job training provided.
- Experience with scripting or automation on data transformation tasks is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail.
Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- 1 year contract with full benefits + completion bonus.
- MNC, 5 days week.
