About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Conservation Coordinator to oversee and manage the progress of site works and submittals related to a historic building project.
The role involves close coordination with contractors, subcontractors, specialists, and the Employer's Representative to ensure all conservation and restoration works are carried out in compliance with project requirements, timelines, and heritage conservation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall progress of site works and documentation pertaining to the historic building.
- Track, review, and file Contractor's submissions to the Employer's Representative for approval, including but not limited to:
- Micro-programmes
- Method Statements
- Pre-condition surveys
- Coordinate with subcontractors, specialists, and relevant stakeholders to align work sequencing with the Contractor's master programme.
- Monitor and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials required for conservation works.
- Attend all trade demonstrations and site coordination meetings.
- Provide regular weekly updates and progress reports on the status of works, manpower, and resources at the historic building.
Ensure compliance with all heritage conservation guidelines, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in conservation-related projects; experience with heritage buildings is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with project stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office, project scheduling, and documentation management.
