Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Contract Logistics Business Development Executive/Asst Manager
to lead the growth and expansion of our contract logistics services, with a strong background in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, developing tailored logistics solutions, and nurturing strong client relationships to support long-term business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries focusing on contract logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management services.
Main industry focus, but not limited to, is healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, lead generation, referrals, and attending industry events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment manufacturers, and healthcare organizations.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Market Research & Analysis :
Conduct in-depth research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning within the medical and pharmaceutical logistics sector.
Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and technological advancements affecting medical and pharmaceutical logistics.
Solution Development :
Work with internal teams to design and propose tailored logistics solutions that meet the specific needs of clients in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, including temperature-sensitive products, regulatory compliance, and product handling requirements.
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure smooth implementation and service delivery.
Contract Negotiation & Management :
Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients.
Oversee business execution and ensure that the terms of the agreements are met, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with other departments such as operations, legal, and finance to ensure seamless coordination of logistics services for clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies targeting the medical and pharma sectors.
Qualifications & Skills
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
Experience :
3+ years of experience in business development or sales, specifically in contract logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
Prior experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry is a plus, with a deep understanding of industry regulations, handling requirements, and market needs.
Skills :
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in logistics.
Knowledge in warehouse solution design and pricing strategy in developing customized warehousing, distribution, and supply chain solutions.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop customized logistics solutions, with a focus on temperature control, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
