Major Duties & Responsibilities
(A) Specific :
Overseeing the measurement and tender documentation processes.
Establishing tender and procurement strategies and advises on relevant contracts for suppliers, specialists and subcontractors.
Reviewing cost estimations and monitors cash flow forecasts.
Endorsing payment responses and final accounts, and establishes policies for payments and post contract administration matters.
Working to mitigate risks and advises on dispute resolution techniques when necessary.
Coordinating with finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of contractual revenues.
(B) General :
Building relationships with customers and liaises with suppliers, specialists and subcontractors to help develop resource plans and monitor costs and profitability of construction works to deliver the project objectives.
Coaching and developing Quantity Surveyors under the team to their full potential.
Any other duties as assigned by superior.
(C) Safety :
Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.
Job Requirements
(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Project Management, Construction Management or similar field.
Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.
(B) Knowledge & Skills :
Possess knowledge in quantity surveying, contracts administration, and dispute resolution.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.
Positive and good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Possess leadership skill.
(C) Experience :
At least 5 years’ experience in Contracts Administration or Quantity Surveying field.
