Job responsibilities
• Lead the Contracts team on-site and support Project Directors/Managers.
• Manage all contractual matters for main contracts, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and review contracts, variation orders (VOs), and extension-of-time (EOT) claims.
• Resolve delayed or disputed costs, including variation claims, and develop strategies for managing Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Oversee procurement schedules, progress payments, and final account settlements.
• Provide contractual advice and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with consultants, authorities, clients, and stakeholders to safeguard project interests.
Qualifications & experience
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
• At least 8 years in a supervisory role leading Quantity Surveyors.
• Strong knowledge of construction/contract law and standard forms of contract (PSSCOC, SIA, LTA, REDAS, FIDIC, NEC, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
