Roles & Responsibilities Overview
Responsible for leading tendering, contracting and procurement functions across projects, ensuring effective governance, value creation and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end tendering and contracting for engineering, project, and advisory services.
- Pre-qualify contractors, consultants, and service providers for large infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and issue ITT and RFP documents; draft and negotiate contract terms in collaboration with legal and technical teams.
- Lead bid evaluations, clarification meetings, and commercial negotiations through to contract award.
- Oversee contract administration, including progress, cost, variations, claims, and performance management.
- Provide guidance on contract strategy, risk management, and compliance.
- Coordinate with leadership, legal, and project teams to align contracts with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and deliver regular reports on performance and key metrics.
Requirements
- Experience in tendering and contract management within industrial, infrastructure or energy projects.
(Petrochemicals, Marine, Refinery, Power etc) - Strong understanding of EPC and consultancy contract structures, from tender through close-out.
- Proven skills in negotiation, cost management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, analytical and leadership abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a lean environment.
