Overview
The
Copywriter, Marketing Campaigns
is a seasoned creative writer who delivers compelling copy across full-funnel campaigns—ranging from awareness-building narratives to high-conversion messaging.

With 5–8 years of experience, this role is responsible for crafting copy that works across above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) channels, including OOH, print, digital, social, CRM, and integrated campaigns.


The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of newsroom dynamics, brand storytelling, and large-scale campaign execution.

They work closely with editorial, creative, marketing, and performance teams to deliver copy that resonates across audience segments, platforms, locally and internationally.


Responsibilities
Campaign Copywriting & Messaging: Translate campaign strategy and audience insights into clear, compelling messaging across ATL, BTL, and digital-first executions.


Develop content narratives and copy assets tailored for print ads, display banners, paid social, native articles, videos, CRM, and more.


Ensure a consistent brand voice and tone while tailoring copy for different audience segments (e.g., business, local communities, youth).


Editorial & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with editorial, newsroom, and title marketing teams to translate content moments into campaignable messages.


Understand newsroom timelines and editorial sensitivities to align marketing copy effectively with content plans.


Collaborate with designers, campaign producers, and performance marketers to align on message hierarchy and CTA logic.


Adapt copy for different audiences, languages, and cultural contexts, working closely with internal marketing and editorial teams.


Apply full-funnel logic: Awareness → Consideration → Conversion, and optimise messaging across each touchpoint.


Continuously test and refine messaging through performance feedback and audience insights.


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.


5–8 years of experience in copywriting for integrated marketing campaigns across ATL/BTL/digital channels.


Familiarity with
newsroom workflows
and an understanding of how to align with editorial strategies and sensitivities.


Strong foundation in
full-funnel marketing , with ability to tailor messaging across awareness, engagement, and conversion objectives.


Proven experience working on
large-scale or multi-market campaigns , preferably in regional or global brand settings.


Excellent command of English with a sharp eye for grammar, tone, and message clarity.


Highly collaborative and able to manage multiple stakeholder inputs and timelines effectively.
