**Overview**
Expectations of a Copywriter
+ Ideate, write and execute original and iconic creative concepts in response to client briefs, objectives or goals
+ Establishes visual tone, character, and messages that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfill the project objectives
+ Develop creative ideas that meets both our clients’ objectives as well as our business objectives, maintaining the company’s expected levels of creative excellence and professionalism
+ Present, share and review creative work with Executive Creative Director/s, Account Management and Planning Leads as well as members of the Management Team
+ Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendors
+ Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning and the broader creative team to develop disruptive and iconic work

+ Participants in, and leads brainstorming sessions

**Qualifications**
+ You have about 3-5 years of work experience and a book brimming with brave ideas, some that saw the light of day, and maybe some that didn’t
+ You’re a keen student of life, open, curious, always willing to learn.
And mostly, polish your craft
+ Strong grasp of social media space and online media jargon and technology
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
+ Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
+ After hours work and overnight traveling to shoots and post sessions required
+ Naturally well organised and unfazed when working towards deadlines.
**Additional information**
5-7 years of local + regional experience and a portfolio of jealousy-inducing ideas and craft.
Work that saw the light of day, and maybe some that didn’t.
Digital and activation experience: demonstrated ability to engage consumers on-ground and on social through branded experiences.
You are just * a little bit * obsessive with words and have your own opinions about grammar rules, oxford commas and split infinitives.
Social-first thinking and executional skills: understand what’s going on in culture and the social media landscape and be able to ideate and write for a socially-connected audience.
Self-starter with a growth mindset: be open, curious, and always willing to learn, solve problems, and go beyond your comfort zone.
Candid, clear, thoughtful: possess good communication skills that help you interact and collaborate well across levels and disciplines.
