Your Key Responsibilities
As the Core Banking Business Architect, you will provide strategic and technical guidance to clients in the banking industry.
You will work with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to design and implement efficient and scalable core banking solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Core Banking System Design: collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop innovative architectural designs.
- Design end-to-end business architectures, processes, and data models aligned with core banking objectives.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: engage with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT teams to translate needs into core banking solutions.
- Conduct workshops to gather requirements and elicit actionable insights.
- Foster collaboration between business and IT to ensure alignment and buy-in for transformation initiatives.
- Solution Evaluation and Selection: assess capabilities, scalability, performance, and security; develop business cases and present to senior management.
- System Implementation and Integration: oversee implementation, manage data migration and testing activities; monitor KPIs.
- Governance and Compliance: ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and data security; develop governance frameworks and procedures; provide risk mitigation guidance.

To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Master's degree a plus.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) as a Core Banking Business Architect or similar in financial services.
Deep hands-on knowledge of Temenos T24 or Finacle preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, architectural principles, and industry best practices.
- Understanding of banking processes, products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and manage stakeholders.
- Strong understanding and coding skills in Java, Core Java and Selenium.
- Experience in API automation and test data management techniques.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure etc.
- Experience in functional testing of core banking applications (e.g., T24) and payments applications (e.g., TPH).
- Proficient in system integration concepts, data modeling and SDLC.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
