Job Responsibilities
Management Challenge identification
- Conduct fact-finding through social, market, competitor, and internal research, including interviews with executives and staff
- Identify key challenges to sustainable growth and regional contributions toward realizing a sustainable society
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Assist in formulating mid-to-long term corporate strategies aligned with global direction and translating regional strategies into actionable plans for SEAI companies
- Define to-Be Scenarios for the region based on identified challenges and opportunities
Drive Implementation and Monitor Progress
- Promote strategy awareness among regional leadership and employees.
- Lead or support implementation with relevant stakeholders and monitor progress to recommend enhancements to improve strategic outcomes
- Manage strategic planning timelines, documentation and communications
Optimize business portfolio and Resource Allocation
- Evaluate business performance to ensure alignment with global objectives and support resource optimization initiatives
Risk Management
- Identify key business risks (geopolitical, economic, supply chain risks, etc.) and provide strategic recommendations to top management.
- Collaborate with relevant departments (HR, FIT, Tax) to assess and manage strategic and operational risks.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in corporate strategy, sales, or business development within the southeast Asia, India or other region.
Experience in semiconductor/ technology industry will be advantages.
- Experience in corporate, business and functional strategy development, with a proven ability to lead strategic initiative across multiple divisions.
- Understanding of the competitive landscape and regulatory environment in southeast Asia and India.
- Familiarity with strategic frameworks
- Strong analytical, research, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to strategic planning and execution.
- Frequent travel within the region is required
