The DFO Security Pillar is responsible for securing and enabling the principals and family office by understanding risk, setting requirements, and implementing controls.
The Security Pillar is a key partner to the business at all levels.
Position Summary
The DFO Cybersecurity team is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security operations team.
The Level 1 analyst will play an integral role in supporting day-to-day cybersecurity operations, focusing on triaging and escalating alerts, tracking security tickets, managing third‐party due diligence tasks, and maintaining key security metrics.
The Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with our regional offices, while being expected to stay current with relevant PDPA regulations.
This position is a hybrid role, with the hire expected to be onsite 3-5 days a week based upon the needs of the organization.

Role Responsibilities
Collaborate with cybersecurity, physical security, IT, and business teams to implement and support effective security protocols and monitoring systems
Monitor and triage cybersecurity alerts across endpoints, networks, and cloud infrastructure
Investigate potential threats and vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and maintain clear documentation and reporting of findings
Support the enforcement of PDPA compliance and contribute to data protection strategies and awareness campaigns
Assist in refining physical security protocols such as surveillance, access control, and incident tracking
Participate in routine audits, risk assessments, and policy reviews to identify areas for security enhancement
Stay current with security trends, new vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies
Help maintain and tune security tools to improve detection capabilities and operational resilience.

Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations
Understanding of Singapore’s PDPA regulations, information security, and data privacy best practices
Exposure to security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM), endpoint protection, and basic incident response workflows
Familiarity with physical security technologies such as access control systems and surveillance tools
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to work well in fast‐paced environments
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, and Values
Exposure to scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Prior experience working with cross-functional teams, including risk and physical security
Demonstrated interest in expanding knowledge across cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
Knows what they don’t know, and what to do about it
Collaborative, and proactive team‐oriented mentality while still maintaining ownership and accountability over their responsibilities.
