What You Will Be Working On
Join our team of cybersecurity professionals, led by our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and play a vital role in protecting ISD's ICT systems and information assets.
Risk assessment is at the heart of what we do.
We seek individuals with technical expertise, analytical and communication skills to help our stakeholders make informed decisions about security risks.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Professional, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other government agencies on complex cybersecurity issues and play a part in shaping policies and strategies.
You will also work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute in focus areas such as:
Security Consultant:
Advise project teams on building secure systems and implementing security controls, working closely to incorporate requirements into secure system designs.
Policy Developer:
Develop security requirements, contextualise government policies, and engage stakeholders to promote security awareness.
Security Administrator:
Administer cybersecurity infrastructure, review technical designs, and streamline onboarding processes.
Security Auditor:
Assess security controls, work with system owners on corrective actions, and report findings to senior management.
Incident Responder:
Monitor systems, investigate suspicious activities, and optimise detection rules for effective security operations.
Penetration Tester:
Conduct vulnerability tests, run incident management exercises, and assess incident response readiness.
What We Are Looking For
Fresh graduate to mid-level candidates passionate about cybersecurity
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields preferred
Relevant security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, GCIH, OSCP advantageous
Ability to collaborate across teams and manage assignments independently
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
