Join the Data Strategy Group to support day-to-day data management operations for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Total Portfolio Data Mart (TPDM) .
You'll safeguard data quality and service levels, diagnose and resolve data issues, and partner with business users and technology teams to deliver reliable, well-documented data for decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Data quality & reconciliation: Execute daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations and controls; track results against SLAs ; investigate exceptions and drive timely remediation.
- Monitoring & troubleshooting: Proactively monitor pipelines/jobs; perform first- and second-level analysis to resolve load failures, performance bottlenecks, and data anomalies.
- SQL analysis: Write, optimize, and review SQL to profile data, validate logic, and produce ad-hoc analyses and reconciliations.
- Issue management: Log, triage, and own data issues through resolution; perform root-cause analysis; raise change requests as needed.
- UAT: Design test scenarios/cases, prepare test data, execute UAT , document results, and sign-off with stakeholders.
- User support: Handle user queries and access requests; clarify requirements; provide timely updates and workarounds.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain technical/functional specifications, data dictionaries, lineage notes, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project leads, data engineers, and business users to improve processes, controls, and data models.
Required qualifications & skills
- CAT-1 security clearance or eligibility .
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (or related).
- Hands-on experience managing data reconciliations/quality checks to SLA (implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting).
- Solid data analysis background with strong problem-solving and logical thinking.
- Proficiency in SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance basics).
- Experience designing and executing UAT .
- Comfortable with data issue management and stakeholder communications.
- Ability to provide clear technical/functional documentation .
- Investment data domain knowledge (e.g., instruments, positions, trades, valuations, benchmarks, corporate actions).
Good to have
- Experience with Snowflake (roles/warehouses, performance tuning, tasks/streams).
