Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations & Risk Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of data center facility systems.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Respond promptly to system faults or emergencies, mitigating risks to availability.
- Monitor and report on operational performance and uptime of colocation (COLO) partners.
Capacity & System Management
- Plan and manage power and cooling capacity to support business growth.
- Drive optimization projects to enhance capacity, efficiency, and resilience.
- Develop performance benchmarks and prepare analytical reports for management review.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with colocation providers and ensure SLA compliance.
- Work with procurement teams to influence service strategy and performance standards.
- Support IT and project teams in infrastructure planning and daily operations.
- Partner with design and construction teams for new data hall builds, fit-outs, and commissioning.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all times.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and internal operational procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in risk management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in data center critical facility operations, or 5+ years in large-scale industrial or plant operations.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems including UPS, generators, chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure timely resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.
