Data Governance Analyst, Financial Services

Our client is an established Financial Services firm currently looking an experienced Data Governance Analyst to join their Group team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in data governance principles and practices, with the ability to implement effective strategies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement data governance processes in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance objectives, priorities, and strategies to support business goals.
3. Establish data quality metrics and monitoring mechanisms to measure compliance and effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
4. Lead efforts to document data lineage, metadata management, and data classification to enhance data understanding and lineage transparency.
5. Act as a subject matter expert on data governance matters, providing guidance and support to business users and stakeholders.
6. Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness and promote adherence to data governance principles and standards.
7. Partner with IT teams to integrate data governance controls into existing systems and processes, ensuring seamless implementation and enforcement.
8. Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to support data governance audits and assessments, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
9. Experience with data governance tools such as Informatica IDMC, Collibra, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
