As a
Data Scientist , you will play a pivotal role in uncovering deep customer insights and developing AI/ML solutions that unlock business value across multiple product lines.
Your work will enable the identification of growth opportunities, support personalised engagement strategies, and drive data-informed decisions to enhance customer experiences and long-term value.
This role sits at the intersection of
data, AI/ML, and business strategy , serving as a key enabler in translating the company’s AI vision into impactful, data-driven solutions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across business, technology, and analytics functions, as well as external partners, to develop, validate, and operationalize machine learning models and GenAI applications designed for scalability and long-term growth.
Make an Impact By:
Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, define problem statements, and design end-to-end AI/ML solutions (including Generative AI and LLM implementations) aligned with business objectives.
Build, test, and integrate analytical models into decision-making engines.
Champion best practices for deployment, scalability, and monitoring in production environments.
Apply advanced techniques to uncover insights on customer behaviour, lifecycle patterns, and preferences.
Deliver actionable recommendations to enhance engagement and drive growth.
Enable robust data exploration, A/B testing, segmentation, and optimisation strategies to continuously improve outcomes.
Present complex analytical findings in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior leadership.
Maintain high standards in coding, version control, and documentation to ensure collaboration and reproducibility.
Work in cloud-based environments with a focus on cost efficiency and performance.
Skills for Success:
Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Strong technical expertise, including:
Machine Learning & Statistical Modelling:
Regression, forecasting, supervised learning (e.g., gradient boosted trees, neural networks), segmentation, clustering, design of experiments, causal inference.
Data Manipulation:
Skilled in SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop/Hive, and Databricks.
Data Visualisation:
Proficiency with tools such as Power BI.
Engineering Practices:
Familiarity with modular code design, reproducibility, testing, and version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to address complex business challenges through data-driven approaches.
Collaborative team player with a customer-first approach and a passion for improving user experiences.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into clear, actionable narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
