Data Cycling Center (DCC) is a Data Science team that is responsible for building the mid-platform data layer that powers AI development across all business lines of TikTok, including e-commerce, advertising, livestreaming, and emerging technologies.
Our initiatives include:
- Scaled human-in-the-loop (HITL) data processing (including capability, methodology, E2E process, platform), delivering the most cost-effective results at benchmark quality levels that outperform leading tech peers.
- Built a highly automated end-to-end data pipeline for AI-generated content (AIGC) that supports strong model performance with minimal resource input.
- Develop a comprehensive content understanding and insight generation system, setting new benchmarks for marketing intelligence in the online ads ecosystem.
DCC aims to be the number 1 data service provider in the AI era.
Our mission is to build the most effective (lossless and affordable) content understanding capabilities to fully satisfy AI needs of TikTok and to help the industry push the limit.
About the role
As the User Growth Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in spearheading our human capital expansion, acquiring high quality users.
You'll own the complete acquisition strategy lifecycle-from identifying untapped user segments and researching market benchmarks to designing experiments that validate new acquisition approaches.
Working at the intersection of data science and strategic growth, you'll analyze acquisition funnel performance, test innovative recruitment strategies, and translate complex data into clear recommendations that drive scalable user acquisition.
Your insights will directly shape how we attract and onboard our most valuable users.
This role requires someone who can think strategically about acquisition challenges while diving deep into the data to find solutions.
You'll collaborate closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to turn your findings into scalable acquisition initiatives that consistently bring in quality participants to meet project demands.

Opportunity Identification: Analyze user data and growth metrics to identify areas for improvement and expansion opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field: advanced degrees preferred.
2.
3-5 years of experience in data science, user growth strategy with a demonstrated track record of success.

Highly proficient in Python, SQL
4.
Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B testing, user segmentation, and predictive modeling.
5.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for problem-solving and innovative thinking.
