Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities:
- Operate and control deep boring machines to drill holes in soil or rock for construction, piling, or foundation works.
- Set up, align, and position boring equipment according to project specifications and site requirements.
- Conduct pre-operation checks and routine maintenance of boring machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Monitor boring depth, pressure, and alignment during operations to maintain accuracy and safety.
- Prepare and maintain boring logs, daily activity reports, and equipment maintenance records.
- Coordinate closely with site engineers, supervisors, and ground crew to ensure work progress follows schedule and safety standards.
- Identify and report any technical or mechanical problems to the site supervisor for timely repair or adjustment.
- Comply with all MOM safety regulations, company policies, and environmental protection guidelines at all times.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, equipment, and drilling materials on-site.
Requirements:
- Possess relevant certificate or training in Deep Boring Machine Operation or heavy equipment operation (WSQ certification preferred).
- Good understanding of soil conditions, drilling techniques, and machine operation parameters.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and construction site environments.
- Strong awareness of safety procedures and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with site personnel.
