Job Description
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Deputy Contracts Manager / Contracts Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing commercial and contractual matters across projects, including but not limited to:
- Managing and leading a team on commercial and operational matters.
- Conducting evaluation, value engineering, cost/scope negotiations for procurement, and making recommendations for award.
- Handling contract administration, including providing contractual advice, and managing/ resolving contractual issues when required.
- Evaluating and certifying Main Contract / Sub-Contract progress claims, variation claims, payments, and settlement of final accounts.
- Monitoring and managing project cash flow, budgeting, and cost control.
- Liaising closely with Project Teams, Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in industry contractual practices and familiar with various standard forms of contracts such as REDAS, SIA, and PSSCOC.
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant working experience with at least 5 years with Main Contractor
- Experience in residential, commercial, and/or institutional projects is preferred.
