We are seeking a
Deputy Business Development Manager
to join the Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL)
Sales, Business Development, and Distribution Marketing
team based in Singapore, covering the Indonesia region.
Responsibilities:
Manage a business development team and support the Business Development Manager to achieve KPIs such as admissions, room nights, trade marketing activities, and other related indicators for the
Indonesia
market.
Support sales & marketing initiatives’ activation/execution across SEA markets.
Establish a strong in-market trade network, identify market-specific consumer and travel trade trends, and support the formulation of locally relevant distribution strategies.
Develop, plan, and launch market-relevant trade marketing programs to increase attendance and room night conversions, leveraging extensive market insights.
Utilize knowledge of online travel developments to launch promotional activities with OTA partners.
Negotiate and collaborate with third-party partners to launch promotional programs leveraging partner resources.
Achieve or exceed goals for theme park admissions and hotel room nights, create market presence across trade channels, and review distribution efficiency.
Assist the Business Development Manager with managerial issues related to the office.
Execute sales tactics and trade marketing programs efficiently, including training and education.
Prepare reports, account updates, and competitive intelligence for senior management.
Identify market segments, develop products for specific channels, and craft marketing tactics accordingly.
Allocate resources effectively, balancing costs and benefits, and motivate trade partners sustainably.
Evaluate the performance and qualification of wholesalers, manage co-op marketing budgets, and ensure effective use of sales products across channels.
Requirements:
8-10 years' experience in travel trade operations, sales, business development, or revenue management.
Experience with online travel agencies (OTAs) and eCommerce is a plus.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
Strong business acumen to identify growth opportunities and prioritize tasks.
Existing trade network in the responsible catchment area.
Excellent negotiation skills for managing trade accounts.
Ability to work under high pressure and results-oriented environments.
High interpersonal skills to build internal and external relationships.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
