Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation from project initiation to completion.
- Client Management: Act as the primary liaison between the client and project team, thoroughly understanding client needs and expectations and providing regular progress updates.
- Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of interior designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project workflow and collaboration.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and manage materials and labor effectively to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to ensure work adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles, proactively develop strategies to mitigate them, and resolve conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain all necessary project documentation, prepare comprehensive project reports, and present updates to clients and other stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Project Management: Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Interior Design Knowledge: A strong understanding of interior design principles, styles, materials, and decor.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and risks in a timely and effective manner.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit is often preferred.
