We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide helpdesk, desktop and audio-visual support for organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Helpdesk & Desktop Support (ICT Computing Devices)
· Respond promptly to calls and emails regarding computing device issues.
· Perform 1st-level hardware support to identify and verify problems with ICT devices.
Audio-Visual (AV) Support
· Assist users with AV equipment setup in meeting rooms.
· Configure hardware such as Microsoft Teams Room consoles, cameras, speakers, and displays.
· Provide 1st-level hardware support for AV equipment.
System & Software Updates
· Update virus signature files, Windows OS patches, and other software patches for ICT devices.
· Perform manual patching on devices that do not receive updates automatically.
Device Setup, Installation & Disposal
· Unpack, inspect, and deploy new ICT devices with approved applications; update inventory records accordingly.
· Configure Windows OS, install software and antivirus, and ensure devices are fully patched.
· Support reinstallation and secure disposal of ICT equipment.
Equipment Loan & IT Administration
· Manage the loan pool of ICT devices, AV equipment, and portable storage media.
· Maintain accurate ICT equipment inventory and records.
Requirements:
· Diploma/Bachelor's degree in computer science / information technology or relevant field.
· At least 2 years work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
· Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with other
