We are looking for a capable and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to coordinate support activities ranging from basic troubleshooting to complex systems support.
This role involves onsite/on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot computer OS and peripheral issues Provide support for Windows 7/8/10 environments Perform hardware/software installation using deployment tools like SCCM Support printer and mobile device issues Install and troubleshoot Microsoft Office tools Work with SOE, group policies, Active Directory, Exchange, and Apple OS Deliver field support for a variety of technologies Manage time and priorities efficiently, especially in high-pressure situations Technical Skills Required
Strong troubleshooting skills (Windows, Apple, virtual environments) Knowledge of: Windows OS (XP, 7, 10) MS Office applications PC/Laptop hardware and peripherals Mobile device support SCCM (basic knowledge) Active Directory and Exchange (basic knowledge) Apple OS (basic knowledge) Personal Attributes
Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative Professional and calm under pressure Discreet and capable of handling confidential information Passionate about quality and continuous improvement Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar desktop support or end-user support role.
