Digital Designer – 11‑month Contract at CET Academy
We are seeking a versatile and creative Digital Designer to join our marketing team.
This role requires a strong visual storyteller who can conceptualize and execute designs across multiple digital platforms.
What you will be working on
- Design social media assets: graphics, carousels, reels, and stories for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Develop Google Display and YouTube ads: thumbnails and other ad creatives for Google Display Network (GDN) and YouTube, ensuring brand consistency and performance optimization.
- Create animated content: motion graphics, GIFs, and short‑form videos using After Effects, Canva Pro, and editing support for video production.
- Design posters & print collateral: high‑quality print materials such as event posters, flyers, and internal communications that adhere to brand guidelines.
- Craft eDMs & email templates: responsive email campaigns using Mailchimp or HubSpot, focusing on visual hierarchy and effective design.
- Write and edit content: collaborate with content teams to write and refine copy for social media, ads, emails, and other marketing materials.
- Support campaign execution: work closely with marketing teams to conceptualize, design, and execute integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
- Maintain brand consistency: ensure all designs align with brand identity, tone, and messaging across platforms and formats.
- Other scope: take on additional tasks or responsibilities as required to support team goals, special projects, or business priorities.
What we are looking for
Experience
- Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in content creation, including video editing and graphic design, within corporate communications, marketing, or an agency environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Experience with motion design tools (Premiere Pro, Canva Pro) and video editing.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot).
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads and responsive ad design.
- Strong command of content writing and editing for digital platforms.
- Awareness of social media trends, platform specifications, and audience behavior.
- Knowledge of design accessibility and responsive design best practices.
